First, a native Bismarck North Dakota, who starts his third year as head coach with his hometown team, Layne Sedevie. You can find out how the team’s week of practice was as they prepared to open up to defend their fifth title, and try to win number six. Coach Sedevie that the week of practice was very light this week, because they are going to play four games in four days. He thought that Tuesday’s practice was good. Layne said that they tried to keep it light. When Jeremiahboyce.com asked if he was nervous, he said, “I hope I’m never not nervous, because that is the competitor in me, and I also want the kids to do well.” Layne went on to talk about the goalies. He said that “when it comes to the goalie rotation, number 29 will get the first two, and I know that Nelly wants to play a lot of games too.” The Bobcats were scheduled to arrive north of Minneapolis around 2pm on Wednesday afternoon for tonight’s game. “Nelly and Fillip will lead by example” according to head coach Sedevie. “The extra time should give the boys time to stretch out and hopefully get a nap.” You can follow the Cats by listening to Paul Teeple on Super Talk 1270 AM on their quest to start off their season undefeated.
