Jake Williams came back to haunt his former team on Wednesday night at the VFW Sports Center. After losing to Aberdeen in a shootout, the Bobcats seem like they were disinterested in playing hockey. It was all Alexandria from the word go. The Bobcats must have forgotten how to play defense. The same goalie who got the national championship last year wasn’t on his A game on Wednesday night. It doesn’t help when you have a defense that falls asleep. The anemic offense did nothing except when it was too little too late. Here is your scoring recap: Alexandria got on the scoreboard first with Alexandria’s leading scorer finding the back of the net. Nardo Nagtzaam scored the first goal making it 1-0 Alexandria. From there it was all Alexandria. The final score was Alexandria 4, Bismarck 2.
