In Aberdeen, South Dakota the Bobcats earn split weekend. After dominating on Friday night and winning 3-1 the Wings got the better of the Bobcats in a shootout. Final score was Aberdeen 3 and Bobcats 2. Here is how we arrived at our final score; CJ Puller was on the board first for Aberdeen. Then Mathew Gates tied the score for the Bobcats at 1 and Aberdeen would take the lead on a goal they should of never had by Cory Ward. The Bobcats’ whole bench was irate, but would tie the score and take the game into over-time before falling in a shootout. The Bobcats now play on Wednesday night at home against Alexandria. The Bobcats now have a record of 20-8-2. Meanwhile, Owatonna and the Bobcats are tied for first place with 42 points.
