Indianapolis, Indiana. After being totally anemic in Atlanta, the Pacers were lead by David West to a final score of 106-83. The Pacers now must have Georgia on their minds, and must find a way to put the Hawks away for good. The problem with this team is they play really good one night and then the next night play really bad. Someone is going to have to step up if the Pacers basketball season has any hope of continuing. We need to bring the same intensity to Georgia, and get mean and nasty! The longer the series goes, the worse it gets for the Pacers, because the New York Knicks are waiting for the winner of the Pacers-Hawks series. Even though the Knicks themselves are only up 3-2, they are still a dangerous opponent. There is no excuse for the Pacers to fall on their face in Georgia. We know that the Hawks will give us their best effort. Kyle Korver needs to be guarded tightly, and our big guys like number 55 Roy Hibbert are going to have to get up in the Hawks faces. As far as last night with the referees, there was nothing that they were doing that the Pacers should worry about. Frank Vogel needs to take a chill pill and just let his players do the talking, because if he starts yakking at the referees, they won’t be afraid to “T” him up! The refs had nothing to do with the game last night. It has just come down to the players, and we shouldn’t be talking about the referees. Boyle and Leonard are better broadcasters then that.
