Indianapolis, Indiana. After a year in which they went 11-5, the Colts were looking to steel their roster with bigger and smarter players according to head coach Chuck Pagano. The one name I have heard a lot about is John Boyett. They say Boyett has a nose for the game. He might even be the next Dwight Freeny in my opinion, only time will to tell. According to the coach they got everyone that was on their board. We got a good young quarterback a year ago. Can the draft win you a Super Bowl? I don’t think so. It all comes down to what you do on the field, and we haven’t seen a down of football yet. According to the coach they got meaner and more nasty. I can’t wait to see how good Andrew does this year, with a rookie year that looked outstanding. I don’t expect Andrew to have any trouble this year, but also he is no Peyton Manning. If I told you the Colts have a chance to get back to championship football you would say I was crazy. The biggest part about going to the Super Bowl is keeping your players healthy. I have a good feeling about the Colts, and I think Indy will once again be a household name in the NFL. With a successful draft behind them, look for a lot of positive stories coming out of Anderson Indiana during training camp. Certainly these guys will have a learning curve, but now that we have one of the best head coaches in the NFL, they should have no problem learning the system. I think the AFC South will become Colt territory once again! Only time will tell if the rookies will fit into the coach’s plans. Look for me to type Boyett’s name in my stories a lot this year.
