Even though the Pacers lost on Tuesday, they’re not in trouble yet. They only lost by 4. Had it been more, this article would have come out in a worse tone than it is coming to you today. However, a loss at Bankers Life is inexcusable. You had a chance to put one of the greatest players in a 0-2 hole and you didn’t do it. This is not acceptable. Now it is our turn to go into American Airlines Arena and set a pace that the Heat don’t like. Jeremiahboyce.com is confident that the Pacers will do it, because of what we did to the champ in Game 1. There is no reason to get all over Coach Vogel just because of one loss. Earlier in the year this website said he should be fired, I will admit it, but now he’s got the Pacers neck-and-neck with the Heat. I think he should make the right adjustments. He’s just going to have to out-coach Eric. I don’t know what the deal is with our bench and Luis Scola, but they’ve got to start performing or we’re looking at another summer without Larry O’Brian in Indy. I’m getting sick of losing to the snake and Eric. But you’ve got to hand it to the Heat. They always find a way to outpace the Pacers when it really counts. Everything Larry tries looks good for the three rounds, but then in round four it always seems to come tumbling down to a crashing halt against the Heat. Pacers fans I’m not trying to ruin the fun of the East finals against the Heat, I’m just looking at it objectively like a real reporter would. Without a bench and without #24 the Pacers have to rely on somebody else like Lance Stephenson, but you never know what you’re going to get out of him. One night he can be consistent and the other he’s inconsistent. Which Lance will it be in Game 3? The Heat know that if they get two more wins they can pretty much bury the Pacers the next time they go back to Indy. On the other hand, if Stephenson gets help and if Paul “Curious” George is OK from his concussion, which he suffered in Game 2, it’ll be a whole different ball game. I expect great things out of the bench.
