Charlotte, North Carolina. NASCAR’s reigning champion still does not have a win, and the longer it continues the worse it is for the sport. There are many of you out there that don’t like Jimmie Johnson, and also say that he is too vanilla. Even yours truly doesn’t like Jimmie, but I am kind of rooting for him to pull out of his long losing streak, because I would like him to have a shot at the championship, which would be his seventh. Kevin Harvick is on fire this year, but where is the rest of HSR? I will be following Tony Stewart’s progress on Friday in the knock out qualifying. How about Jeff Gordon? He has been nothing but a surprise this year. A 42 year old who will be 43 in August. He is the current points leader over Matt Kenseth. Jamie McMurray who is a native Joplin Missouri, and who also won the million dollars last week could be a threat to win the Coca Cola 600. Along with number 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr, who already has a win this year. Dale’s win came in the Super Bowl of NASCAR, the Daytona 500.
