Most of you when I say four for four may be thinking about the Wendy’s four for four. But today, we are talking about Chip Ganassi and how he is four for four to open the NTT Indycar series for 2020. After the reindeer, Scott Dixon, had taken the first three races, Chip Ganassi was looking to go four for four on the season. Instead of the reindeer winning, Philip Rosenqvist gave Chip Ganassi as an owner his fourth straight win by winning part two of an Indycar double header at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. After yesterday’s win by Dixon, it was nice to welcome in a new face to Indy car victory lane. As for the defending champion, Josef Newgarden, there wasn’t much growing in the garden today. After leading most of the race yesterday, Josef made a crucial mistake on the pit road, which allowed the reindeer to deliver Ganassi a three for three. After Scott Dixon won at Texas, it was starting to look like Christmas in the Indy car series, because usually reindeer do not deliver presents until December. But this reindeer delivered three presents in a row. Despite not having a good day, Scott still maintains the points lead. He leads by 51 points over Colton Herta. Rosenqvist is only a rookie. The points battle will continue in Newton, Iowa as the Indy car series travels to Iowa for a Friday and Saturday double header next week.
