Bismarck, ND. For Immediate Release.
It’s time to get your skates laced up and it’s time to hit some people, starting with the Lone Star Brahmas. The Bismarck Bobcats will start their regular season today at the NAHL Showcase at the Schwann Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. The Bobcats will need to get physical right away, but they have to do it within reason. And that doesn’t mean PIM. That means taking pucks away from the Brahmas, and depositing them in the net behind the Brahmas goalie. The test for the Bobcats will be if they can make the Brahmas get tired and take the bodies to them. Number 31, Oscar Spinnars Nordin, is the Bobcats returning goalie from last year. He was part of the nine lives team that took until the last day of the season to make the playoffs. He helped backstop the Bobcats all the way to the Divisional final, where they lost to the eventual champion St. Cloud Norsemen. Last year means nothing in my opinion. So what if the Norsemen were the champions last year. This is a new 60 game season, and the Bobcats better come out on top in more ways than one. If they want to be relevant, Layne Sedevie needs a ring on his hand and the Robertson Cup in his office.
Today’s game will be live at 2 pm on the flagship home of the Bobcats, Supertalk 1270 AM.
