Coming off of a weekend in which they took two big steps forward, will the Bismarck Bobcats continue to take steps forward, or will they go backwards on the sixth year benchmark of Layne Sedevie? One would think they have the momentum after sweeping the weekend on the road in South Dakota. However, you are only as good as your coaches, if you listen to them and do not screw around when they try to teach you the fundamentals of the game. The Bismarck Bobcats have been known for having a great weekend, and then following up with a stinker the next weekend. So which team is this media outlet going to see this weekend? The one that wants to protect their home ice, or the one that does not give a darn about what their coaches are trying to teach them? Jeremiahboyce.com hasn’t seen the team that took two from Austin, and frankly I would like to see that team again at home. Where have the real Bismarck Bobcats been since they went two and zero? I’m not questioning the ability of Layne or Garrett to be good coaches, but what I am questioning is the team’s ability to put together two consistent games in a series. Because we have seen the team play really stinky hockey and then the next night they can put together a masterpiece for Layne.
