Gone are the days of Tony Eury Jr.. Enter in Lance McGrew. Eury Jr. was Earnhardt Jr.’s crew chief ever since Dale came into the sport. What has Jr. done since coming over to Hendrick MotorSports? After his first season at HMS, he finished 12th in the points, which is two spots out of Chase contention. This year, he is off to an atrocious 18th place start. HMS tried to shake things up by removing Jr.’s long-time crew chief and cousin Eury Jr.. Meanwhile, the guy who Dale Jr. replaced at HMS is setting the NASCAR world on fire. Kyle Busch is sitting in the top 10 and is a legitimate threat to knock the reigning 3-time Sprint Cup champ off his thrown, Jimmie Johnson.

Shame shame Mr. H. Everybody knows your name. You thought that by going out and getting the most popular driver in NASCAR that he would replace one of the most irreplaceable names, Kyle Busch. I can’t wait to hear your reaction when Kyle challenges his majesty for his thrown. You made the wrong move Mr. H. Earnhardt Jr. is not living up to Jr. Nation’s expectations. Besides, you have the reigning king of NASCAR and a 4-time king (Jeff Gordon). Maybe Jr. is someone else’s goods. He is not living up to Hendrick standards of being a champion. Sure, he was a champion in the Nationwide Series, but none of that matters. It doesn’t matter what you did in the past, it’s what you do in the present. If you want someone tarnishing your image as one of the most revered teams in NASCAR then keep Jr.. If you want to keep your place in NASCAR, get rid of Jr..
