The city of Seattle and the Seattle Super Sonics have settled a law suit with the Key Arena as the Sonics are moving to Oklahoma City. The former owner of the Seattle franchise, Howard Schultz, is paying the city $45 Million for the team.  Seattle will be paid $30 million more if in 5 years the city is not able to get another NBA team to make a contract with the Key Arena.  In today’s ever expanding NBA, this shows that a team can be here today and gone tomorrow.  Hopefully this will be a wise choice for the Super Sonics!!
