The native of Duluth, Minnesota has visited one of the most unloved areas in hockey, and the most of any Bobcat. Grannis is the most penalized Bobcat on this year’s team, and has been saddled with 55 PIM. The first question we asked Curious George was if he had a love affair with the penalty box, to which Grannis replied, “me and the penalty box go way back.” After that, we asked if it was going to be different playing in Marshall, Minnesota rather than Fairbanks, Alaska, which is the normal home of the Fairbanks Icedogs. Grannis said it should be no different than playing a normal away game. The game will be played close to where George is originally from. He also stated that if the Bobcats come out with the right attitude, and play a full 60 minutes, they should win. This reporter thinks the Bobcats should be successful in muzzling the Dogs. As for Grannis and his future, he plans to play in a town called Potsdam, New York for a university they call Clarkson.
