Minneapolis, MN. Going in to this four game series against the White Sox, the Twins were five games ahead of the Sox, but you cannot play dumpster fire baseball and expect to be in first place for very long. The White Sox came in to Target Field and took three out of four, cutting the Twins’ lead down to three games, and the Guardians are only two back. The All Star break couldn’t happen to a better team, because maybe the Twins were tired coming out of their four game series. That having been said, this was not the way to play Minnesota Twins baseball, getting smoked 12-2 on Thursday night and 11-0 on Sunday. This is not how the Twins need to be represented.

Luis Arraez is going to represent Minnesota in the All Star Game, along with number 25, Byron Buxton. Luis is the league leader in batting average, and he can make plays when he is needed. Buxton and Arraez are the dynamic duo this year for the Twins.

The second half of the season begins on Saturday in the jungle with the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, and the Twins do not return home until August 1 when they host the kitty cats.
