The Minnesota Vikings find themselves at a crossroads at this point in the 2017 NFL season. We must face the music that they could be 2-3 by the end of the night and be two games behind the NFC North first place Green Bay Packers. I am just giving you the facts ladies and gentlemen. We don’t have rookie running back sensation Dalvin Cook anymore for the rest of the season due to his knee injury, we will have to rely on the next two running backs in Jerick McKinnion and Latavius Murray to fill the void in Cooks absence.
Also, according to KFAN radio of Minneapolis, Mn., there has been a Sam Bradford sighting on the Vikings practice field in the last few days. Reports today have Bradford slated to be the starting quarterback under rookie center Pat Elflein in tonights game at Chicago Soldier Field. We hope that Bradford is ready to go along with the rest of the Vikings offense and they don’t repeat the dreaded performance of one week ago to the Detroit Lions. We hope that by the end of the game that radio play by play man Paul Allen is in a celebrating mood.
We hope that the Vikings stout defense will give rookie starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky a night to remember in his first NFL start for the Bears. It could be a long night for Trubisky if the Vikings can pressure him like they did the previous week against Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, sacking him a total of six times in the game.
I am predicting a Vikings victory tonight over the Bears of 24-9.
