Last Friday night it seem like either team thought that defense was optional. There was a total of nine goals scored between the Bobcats and Minnesota Wilderness in the 5-4 victory for Minnesota. In the net for the Bobcats was Ryan Ullan of Hibbing, Mn. As for the Wilderness it was the same old pain in the paw Trevor Micucci picking up the win for the Wilderness.

In Saturdays game the Bobcats were able to get the last purr as forward Jake Leitner of Bemidji, Mn. scored an overtime goal at 3:54 to make the Wilderness fans go home quiet for the night. With the win the Bobcats move to 3-5, good for 6 points and fourth place in the NAHL Central so far in the young season, four points behind first place Brookings Blizzard.

The Bobcats will host the Kenai River Brown Bears for two games this weekend starting on Friday night at the VFW Den.
