The fun all starts in the land of the Big Dipper this weekend against the team with one of the best records in the league, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, who are currently in second place in the NAHL Midwest Division with a 9-4-3 record for 21 points. The Bobcats will remain in Alaska for another week as they will visit the Kenai River Brown Bears for another two game series the following weekend.
The Bobcats are looking to snap a four game losing streak after being swept at the hands of the Austin Bruins by identical 2-1 scores this last weekend in Bismarck. The Bobcats currently sit in a second place tie with the Aberdeen Wings with 18 points in the NAHL Central Division trailing the first place Brookings Blizzard by one point.
The Sheriff and Bobcat fans will have to stay up late for the 10:05 Central Time Zone start on Friday and Saturday night so I can give you, the best fans in the league, the NAHL hockey coverage that you deserve. The games will still be broadcast locally on 1270 AM radio by Bobcats play-by-play voice Paul Teeple.
