Hayden Gibson is making film of his own to show how you are supposed to play in the West Region. Hayden doesn’t look like a junior that people say he is. I think Hayden looks like a senior. He tore apart CHS’s defense it was big play after big play. CHS had no answer for Gibson or Thomas Sease. Sease was playing with a cast on his hand, but that didn’t stop big Thomas from putting pressure on the sophomore who was unable to perform. Friday night’s game was a run away early. This was supposed to be a match up of one vs two, but someone forgot to set the alarm to wake Dalton Feeney up. Hayden was ready from the word go, and he also played a really sharp game from the first quarter to the fourth quarter. A lot of the credit goes to the BHS senior group of players, because they just absolutely trashed CHS. You have to wonder about how CHS is going to respond going into Minot. It should be interesting to get coach Wingenbach’s thoughts on a game that CHS didn’t show up for. How can you be the number two team in the state and look so awful? Also, how can they allow Hayden Gibson to play the way he did on Friday, and tear apart your defense? Jacob Barth had absolutely no answer for Hayden. He was able to play the game the way coach Gibson wanted him to play. If I was Wiliston then I would be shaking in my shoes, because they are going to have a really tough time putting any pressure on Hayden. BHS looked like a well oiled machine. This is the way championship football is supposed to look like. For coach Wingenbach, it’s back to the drawing board. The only way anybody is going to stop BHS is if they stop themselves. What we have seen so far out of Mark Gibson’s unit is a number one brand of football. Coach Wingenbach has to be upset with what he saw on the field. CHS’s offense was unable to get going at all on Friday night. You have to give credit to Thomas Sease. The guy is an absolute warrior, and he can play through pain. Even with a cast on, he can put pressure on you. I would like to hear what coach Wigenbach said to the troop during practice, because I wouldn’t be surprised if they fall to number three in this week’s poll. I also can see Minot moving up to number two. If you want to win a west region title then you will have to go through Gibson.
