Bismarck, ND- The Bismarck Bobcats created a perfect winter storm of their own, ripping the Blizzard in every aspect of the game. The Cats got on the board early with a goal by number 16, Jason Fabian. The avalanche of goals didn’t stop with Jason Fabian. Before Alexandria knew what hit them, they were buried under a Bobcat attack. Dominic Panetta made the score 2-0, Bismarck. Ryan Jacobson took the Blizzard to school making the score 3-0, Bobcats. At the end of the first period, it would be Bismarck 4, Alexandria, 0, with a second goal by Dominic Panetta. Alexandria created a light snow flurry of their own, with their only goal of the night being early in the second period, scored by Steve Zierke, making the score 4-1, Bismarck. After the Alexandria goal, it would be a Bobcat mauling, as they would score and score at will, leaving the final score 9-1, Bismarck. Tonight’s domination gives the Bobcats a 1-0 lead and with a sweep at home the Bobcats could be one win away from the National Tournament.
