Bismarck, ND. Even though this weekend didn’t go as most of the team had expected it to go, including their staff writer, now is the time when Bobcats fans must unite around the former Billings Bull great, Layne Sedevie, and the former Bobcat great, number 27 and number one in your hearts, Assistant Coach of the Year, Garrett Roth. The Bobcats just couldn’t get pucks to bounce their way, but that’s no reason not to think that Sedevie and Roth can’t make the team we all love five-time champions. Take it from a man who knows his Bobcats inside and out, and who has the privilege of being part of the media corps that covers them on a weekly basis. The scoreboard may have signaled that we lost, but I see it differently. The team tried their best, but the biscuit wouldn’t crumble in their favor. And, the team didn’t give up. They still got two points. If you asked Layne Sedevie, he would say, we are not performing our best right now, but the good thing is it’s not playoff time yet. The Bobcats still need three points, which is easily doable. They just need to have confidence and stick with the same system that has them sniffing home ice throughout round one of the playoffs.
