After winning Game 1 out in Oakland, the Detroit Tigers are less than 24 hours away from hibernation. I told you that the Tigers needed to find the art of pitching. Well, the Tigers haven’t found it, outside of Max Scherzer, which is something that you need to go far in the playoffs. Plus, things got a little heated between the A’s and the Tigers today. It makes me wonder what kind of game tomorrow will bring. You could clearly hear obscenities over the radio. I have no doubt that today’s result was not what the Tigers wanted. Nobody wants to lose, especially at Comerica Park. This has been where all of the magic happens for this version of the Tigers. It makes you wonder what will Alex be like knowing that he is a free agent and his dad Al is the Assistant GM to Dave Dombrowski. This will also mark the final game for Phil Coke and Jhonny Peralta. So it will be interesting to see what kind of effort tomorrows starting pitcher will have. I have no doubt that the Tigers will not go down without a fight. Oakland has just been the better team all series long. I’m just telling you the truth, Tiger Fans. When we had them at 1-0 we should have stepped on their throats, but instead we let them righten the series and the Champs are in trouble. There will be a lot of questions if this is indeed the final game for the Tigers. This cannot happen to the AL Champions. They better find a way to pull it out of their fur. The magic of the bullpen is gone. Phil Coke is not the Tigers savior this year. You’ve got to give Oakland credit. Verlander is not the same Justin either. If I was Dave Dombrowski I would definitely try to resign Max Scherzer because he was the only bright spot this year, besides Miguel Cabrera, but he got hurt. You cannot fault the Big Man. He’s been a warrior ever since his injury.
