The NBA will have a new king this year after the Lakers were dispatched in four games. Where is the loyalty in sports? It’s not about the love of the game for players anymore, it’s about the green stuff. What happened to playing 48 minutes for the fans? Mr. Commissioner, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have made a mockery of the game of basketball. I am sick of players and owners bickering back and forth about money. They should focus on product on the floor. You see it in the National Football League right now and you soon will see it in Major League Baseball if the players and owners don’t realize that it’s not about money. Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry about the tirade but the sports world is a bunch of overpaid, dishonest, crybabies for athletes, and the owners are nothing but cheapskates. Maybe the owners and players can be locked in a room and hammer out some deals so that the fans have a product to watch. Empty arenas lose money and sit around without fans, and major league baseball does the same thing. When players and owners act like babies, and when commissioners lock the players out, nobody wins and everybody loses.
