In an email interview, the Bobcats assistant coach Garrett Roth speaks out about his hopes and dreams for the Bobcats. Roth states that number 29 Aaron Nelson “has earned the right to be our number one guy.” Roth also said that Aaron Nelson is a good leader and he works very hard. The second question I asked was, what do you expect out of your veterans? Roth stated that “we expect our veterans to play a big role in what our team does this year.” He also said that “our group of veterans we have returning this year are very special.” Roth also stated that the Bobcats feel like they have a good group of rookies that they should be able to gain a lot from the veterans. When it comes to being goal oriented, it’s the same old Garrett. By that I mean he is already focused on the NAHL showcase, which will once again mark the beginning of the NAHL season in Blaine Minnesota, at the Schawn Super rink. If you want to follow the team’s progress throughout the Showcase, you can listen to Paul Teeple on fast hockey or super talk 1270.
