NASCAR returns to the Indiana Heartland with so many questions, and so many things yet to be determined. This is not your average race, this is one of NASCAR’s crown jewels. The Brickyard has been so exciting in the past years. Find out in this preview who Jeremiah Boyce thinks will kiss his bricks this year. There are so many story lines going into the Brickyard, but I would like to start you out with last year’s Sprint Cup champion. Again, if you remember in a past story, I told you how Roger has kissed my bricks in May, but has yet to kiss them in the 400. Something about this weekend leads me to believe that Roger Penske will get a win with either Brad or Joey. Drivers to keep your eyes on include a guy with four wins this season Matt Kenseth, and of course Indiana’s two favorite sons Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. You might also want to keep your eye on Ryan Newman who is a native of South Bend, Indiana. Ryan also at the end of this year will have no job, because of Stewart-Haas letting him go so they can make room for Harvick and because they won’t have a sponsor on 39’s car next year. How big of a win would this be for Ryan going into a year where he is a free agent? If I was Ryan and I was having a chance to win one of NASCAR’s crown jewels, that would make the Brickyard a huge win. I also think that Tony needs to redeem himself after what happened in Loudon. What better place to do that than in your home state? I remember one year where Tony caught fire in the chase and became your Sprint Cup champion because of it. Makes me wonder if Tony misses Darian? There are a lot of stories going into this weekend and I am really excited to be covering them all.
