Indianapolis, IN. This reminds me of a another situation with Peyton Manning. Yes, I know we have Andrew; we got lucky because our record was bad. But in the case of Peyton Manning, I was irate when they chose to let him go. If they let Freeney go, the Colts will be making another big mistake and I don’t think they need that right now! Why in heaven’s name would they let someone go who was a key part in Super Bowl 41? Freeney and Manning were both a good part of Super Bowl 41. If the Colts know what’s good for them, they should re-sign Freeney. I’d be rather upset if they don’t. Look at what happened to Jeff Saturday and Peyton Manning. In Manning’s case, he still has four more years on a five year deal that he signed with the Broncos. So I expect Peyton to get back to the Super Bowl real soon! Who’s to say that Super Bowl 41 would have been Peyton’s only title? Saturday was treated the wrong way by the Colts, so he moved to Green Bay, which was promptly eliminated from the playoffs. Saturday also announced his retirement, and spent his time during the playoffs on the bench. I remember him playing in a few games, What a sad way to have your career end! The reason why I think the Colts don’t need to let Freeney go is because last year he was a big part of an 11 and 5 season. Unless you are trying to get younger talent? Even then, I don’t understand why you would let number 93 go out to the pasture. I will be following this situation very closely.
