Champaign, IL. For the second time, being rated number one wasn’t kind to the boys from Bloomington. After having a 10 point lead after half time, I told you guys in my article I thought there would be an upset. Illinois just wanted it more than IU! The really disappointing thing about the loss was that IU doesn’t get the chance to redeem themselves, because Illinois does not go to Bloomington. It is what it is, Hoosier fans. Let’s not focus on the three times that we have lost, but more importantly let’s remember that it’s a long season. A loss is a loss, Hoosier fans, but you can’t fault Cody Zeller. He just had a little bit of a mental breakdown. That’s going to happen when you are only a sophomore. Cody is still Cody Zeller, he is only human Hoosier fans. I don’t want to hear how he is a bad player just because he is the one who lost the Illinois player. Do not rip into Cody! We saw plenty of good things from IU last night. You would like to think that you could be better than what you were last night. Something tells me they have their best basketball still in them. They can only learn from their loss. Don’t pout about the past. Keep you head up IU. You should have plenty of time to give us a Big Ten championship! Let’s give Illinois credit, they would not go away. You can only learn from this and get better.
