Bloomington, Indiana. No Oladipo, no problem so far with the Hoosiers. With Victor Oladipo playing big boy basketball in the NBA for the Orlando Magic, the Hoosiers do not have number 4 to rely on anymore. They must get fire power from a familiar name like Kevin Yogi Ferrell who is a sophomore, along with Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Will Sheehey. The Hoosiers enter the season with a target on their back. Who can forget last year’s drama? As heard on the IU Radio Network, the final shot delivered by Victor Oladipo gave the Hoosiers the title with the final score of 72-71 over Michigan. Don Fischer was very excited. I will never forget the way Fish called that last play. It sounded something like this. “The Hoosiers win it 72-71 and they win the Big Ten title out right!” You have to love you some fish if you are from Indiana. There were two voices that I fell in love with at a very young age. They were Mr. Mark Boyle with your Pacers, and Mr. Don Fischer with the Hoosiers. I think that there is nothing better then spending an evening covering an Indiana sporting event, and listening to either Fish with the Hoosiers or Boyle with the Pacers. I think that those two gentlemen bring the blue and gold, and the cream and crimson, right to you with you not even having to be there.
