Just when you thought the Tigers were down and out in Monday night’s game, Rajai Davis delivered a stunning blow. I heard it on the Tigers radio network with Dan the Man. I think that Dan is one of the greatest voices in all of baseball. I thought it was a great job from the Tigers bullpen, and especially number 40 Phil Coke. When Brad called on him, Phil didn’t allow Oakland to go wild. If he would have allowed Oakland to go wild, then who knows if Dan would have been able to call that home run. If Oakland was able to score, that could have been your ball game right there, but Coke was able to get the job done. Number 13 Alex Avila got a hit and that had to have made the Tigers dugout feel good. Then entered in Davis with his magic, and Dan was able to call the grand slam home run.
