At the Echo Park Automotive Grand Prix in Austin, it was almost a repeat of one year ago, when William Byron won. But on Sunday afternoon, Christopher Bell was the only JGR celebrating. That’s because he won. He and Kyle Busch were having a driving war at the end. Bell and Busch were going toe to toe to see who would reign supreme in Austin. William Byron almost caught the two of them red handed. He finished second, but he is already in the playoffs due to a crash fest which he won in Daytona to start the season. Bell is the second driver to lay claim to a playoff spot very early in the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if C. Bell and his crew chief Adam Stevens win a few more.

Here is an early season look at your points. William Byron is in first. The other drivers who are joining him in the top five are Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott.
