Where there’s Smoke there’s Fire!

Atlanta, GA. On Sunday night, Denny Hamlin had the pole. But before the night was over he wouldn’t be healthy and his engine would blow up. He wasn’t the only Joe Gibbs car to have problems, Joey Logano who is Hamlin’s teammate had trouble with his car. Before the night was over, the rest of the field would be filled with smoke, as Tony Stewart would claim his first win of the season. This is typically the time of year where Smoke starts smoking. Jimmy Johnson claimed his spot in the chase with a 3rd place finish at Atlanta. The series moves on to Richmond, VA where this will mark the end of the regular season.
