Bismarck, North Dakota. For the second straight series, the defending Robertson Cup champions are testing their mettle. With last night’s inexcusable 4-3 overtime setback to the Coulee Region Chill, another series is tied at two. In the previous series, the national champs put Alexandria to bed in their own building. Now, they have to put Connor Gaarder and the rest of the Chill on ice in their own building. If you remember, in game 1, the Bobcats went into the Omni and stunned the Chill, taking away the home ice advantage and coming together as a team. This time, they must band together as one and deliver Bobcat Nation another trip to nationals. Standing in their way, however, is the possibility of bus legs. This all could have been avoided if the Cats could have shown a little more togetherness last night in their own barn.
