The Red Wings shouldn’t even be thinking about Jonathan right now, but because of Howard’s inability to shut the door at home, now the Blackhawks have the pressure on the Red Wings. You can look for the Red Wings to be holding their sticks very tight tonight, because Jonathan and Marian are going to come out very loose, and ready to play some Blackhawk hockey! The key for the Red Wings is to hit the Blackhawks and be physical when they have the opportunity. Another key area for the Wings is going to be the face offs. Look for the Red Wings to fire a lot of rubber on Corey Crawford. You can look for them to set a lot of screens, but look for Jonathan to do the same thing on Jimmy. It’s going to come down to physicality and who has fresher legs. I would also expect the Blackhawks to fire rubber in the first five minutes. If you are the Red Wings then you need to stay away from penalties, because Chicago was 2-3 on the power play in game six. I expect the Red Wings to hide Henrik, just like head coach of the Blackshawks did with Jonathan in game six. This time of year, if you want to be playing in June for the Stanley Cup, then this is where the goalies earn the big bucks! This is also where the Goalies have to be on their “A” game!
