Daytona Beach, Florida. William Byron and Alex Bowman gave Mr. H. and former driver ofmthe number 24 Jeff Gordon something to smile about on Monday evening, a 1-2 finish in the Daytona 500. The race was thrilling from start to finish, because of a lot of lead changes and also a lot of crashes involving Brad Keselowski, the defending champion Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Kyle Busch. William Byron drove through the crash and on to his first Harley Earl trophy. The rain on Sunday finally went away on Monday.
The series moves on to Hampton, Georgia next Sunday at 3pm Eastern on Fox, and also on PRN radio, the Performance Racing Network with Mark Garrow and Doug Rice.
