Evanston, Illinois. For most of the first half, it looked like we were going to have a return to the way basketball is supposed to be played in the heartland. But then, in the second half, the Hoosiers began to make mistakes, and it looked like Indiana would suffer its third loss overall and its second loss in the Big Ten. A big key for the Wildcats was stifling defense, that nearly suffocated the Hoosiers. But leave it to Cody the coyote, a sophomore who played well beyond his years and who I think would look good in a Pacers uniform But for now, he still has a lot of maturing to do. Cody reminds me of a younger Reggie Miller. And then, what can you say about the junior center Victor Oladipo? He is a floor general. He made sure that the Hoosiers are still within striking distance of the top of the Big Ten. For now, the Hoosiers are tied with the Spartans for second place, but their overall record is something to be proud of. They only have two losses, and given enough time, I believe they will return to the top of the country. A win can only show the committee one thing, that these Hoosiers are for real, and can still improve on their only two loss record. The Hoosiers have a lot of bright spots. If I were on the committee, I would give them a number one seed.
