West Lafayette, Indiana. This article is not for the squeamish. What you are about to hear is why this season has been an inexcusable train wreck in Weat Lafayette. There are three reasons why this train has jumped the track. Number one, inconsistency. Number two, Danny Hope has put the Boilermaker program in the unbearable position of playing for nothing on New Year’s day. Number three, their leadership has been lacking ever since Drew Breese graduated and moved to the Saints. Coach Hope, you have left Boilermaker Nation ready to blow steam at you. Why in heaven’s name haven’t we been ready to play on Saturday? It’s because you have followed a hopeless game plan, and left the players without an engineer to follow. Sure, we have the Old Oaken Bucket, but we would rather be playing in Indianapolis, where the Big Ten Championship is held. Maybe you should make a trip to South Bend and find out what your counterparts have been doing all season long. This is unacceptable. Every time I look at my Boiler Express train, I think about going to my home town and burting in to your office, and taking over the coaching duties from you.
