I told you guys in the beginning of the season that I thought Brad would repeat, but he has a big egg by his name in the win column. He now finds himself in 14th place in the points after a nightmare in the Bluegrass state, which we saw Matt collect his fourth win. I’m not saying it’s a do or die for Brad and Paul, but it would be a heartbreaker to see no number 2 in the chase. Brad and Paul are a very smart team and they didn’t get the championship by sitting back and doing nothing. They had to earn the right to have the word champion by their name, and they still might pull it off this year. There are nine races left and the King won’t go down without a fight! This is what I expect from Daytona, Brad will be near the front, even if he doesn’t get the pole. You can look for “BK” to be in the top 10 or the top 15, he is way too smart of a driver to not put up a fight. I happen to like the current champion, because he doesn’t give you any vanilla answers that you would hear from “five time”.
