Saturday night’s Bobcats game in St. Cloud was rather spicy. First, I would like to give Layne Sedevie credit for doing a good job in controlling his mouth. I would never do this to an NAHL coach, but Corey “Water” Millen, the St. Cloud head coach and general manager, gave the league and his team a dirty reputation by arguing with the long arm of the law on the ice. Again, I don’t usually do this. I try to represent the Bobcats and the NAHL with dignity and class, because I follow my owner’s example. The Sheriff who was wearing the orange arm band, which indicates that you are the head sheriff on the ice, was Robert Esposito. When he heard what ever the magic word was for the night, he called a bench penalty on St. Cloud, which must have incensed Millen. Esposito told Millen “get off the bench!” when Millen had a watery melt down. When you are a fiery general manager, and we have one of our own in Bismarck, things can go haywire for the gentleman with the orange arm band. Sometimes a coach will set off the referee by saying words that we will refrain from putting in this article. Sedevie has a temper of his own, but he never shows it in front of this media outlet, because he knows that if I ever have a problem with the way he acts, I’m not afraid to call Minneapolis and let owner Brigl know what happened. Or maybe he doesn’t know how fiery Jeremiah can get. Sedevie never sees that side of me, because I’m there to represent his team and I take pride in the Sheriff’s Patrol. If I was a St. Cloud fan, I would not want to attend another game due to Millen’s antics, and whoever the St. Cloud owner is should get a reprimand from Commissioner Mark Frankenfield. I don’t care if you are a player or a bench boss, whenever you want to fire up a bunch of 18 to 21 year old young men, you should do it in the privacy of your own locker room and quit acting like you are a two year old in front of the gentlemen who try their best to give the fans in every city in the NAHL a clean product to watch on the ice.
