Larry Clisby, who was famous for the call “Bullseye!”, heard throughout the great state of Indiana, has succumbed to his battle with cancer. We love you, Clis, and send our deepest whistle blowing thoughts to the Clisby family at their time of loss. For now, Rob Blackman will replace the legend of Boilers basketball, Larry Clisby. Blackman also is your pre and postgame show and halftime host for Boilers football, along the Boilermaker Sports Network, which is anchored by 96.5 WAZY. Clisby was the Boilermakers version of Bobby “Slick” Leonard. Whenever I heard “bullseye” during the radio broadcast of Purdue basketball, that made me very happy, because that meant the train was rolling.
