For immediate release. After falling short in the run for the 2021 Robertson Cup, the Bobcats are back for their 25th season in Bismarck. They are led by one of the fiercest coaches in Junior A hockey, one of my own. Please welcome back Layne Sedevie. He enters his 12th season behind the Bismarck bench. He doesn’t have an assistant coach yet, as Garrett Hendrickson has taken a college coaching job at Augsburg University. Also, returning in between the pipes is Tommy Aitkin, who does not own a Robertson Cup ring. Former goalie for the Billings Bulls Layne Sedevie is one of the best teachers in this league, and will be demanding of Aitkin, because he is one of the Bobcat veterans. Sedevie should be known as the Bobcats’ Bliss Littler, because he played under Littler in Billings. The Bismarck Tribune mentioned how the Bobcats went after defensemen in the NAHL draft, because they lost most of their defensemen from last year. It also talked about the NAHL Showcase, in Blaine, Minnesota September 15. The Bobcats will play at 8 pm on the 15th. All home and away games can be heard on the Bobcats flagship station, KLXX Radio 1270.
