Why in the world would you let a 2012 winner of the Daytona 500 go? This is the same guy who won the NASCAR Superbowl. So, it seems a little odd to me that you wouldn’t put your money where your mouth is. Why would you make a statement that you are obviously not willing to back up? Matt is a 2003 champion of NASCAR. Carl Edwards has won nothing, why did you sign him to a long-term contract? Even in NASCAR it’s not about the product you put on the track, but it’s about the green stuff. Should’t it be about the love of racing instead of the money? So what if Matt is quiet in front of cameras and microphones? The fact that he has won a championship should mean a lot.
