Sparta, KY. With the regular season winding down and only nine races to go, the Rochester Hills Michigan native finds himself 14th place in the points. Yesterday’s results only made the number 2 team’s hole even deeper to climb out of. Paul Wolfe is great a crew chief, and if anyone can do it Paul and Brad can! They just need to keep themselves from getting in trouble and put themselves in a better position. Sometimes when you are a young champion you learn how hard it is to defend the next season. You have to take into consideration that there is a new car in play, but new car or not this is inexcusable. I think that Brad is a reasonable young man who can figure out the new car very quickly. Even though the results are not what Brad, Paul, and Roger want, I’m pretty confident that we will see number 2 in victory lane sooner rather than later! I’m pretty impressed with Paul from last year and the way he battled Jimmy and won in Chicago. I think that the way he won at Chicago last year really speaks volumes, and shows how good of a driver Brad is. I would like to point out that his reign doesn’t end until somebody knocks him off. I was also really impressed with the Middletown CT native Joey Logano and how he battled Jimmy and wouldn’t give in to him. If Brad and Paul can’t make it to the chase I wouldn’t count Joey out. The Penske engines are very strong, I’m just kind of disappointed with Brad so far, but I guess this happens sometimes. Stick behind your driver and his crew chief. Kentucky is over, and we are just going to have to go get a win in Daytona. Jimmy Johnson doesn’t own nothing! Not yet anyway, Brad is still the king. Brad and Paul will try their best in the next nine races. One win and we are in position for a wild card. I don’t know what the problem is, but I’m sure that Mr. Wolfe and “BK” will figure it out.
