On Sunday night in Charlotte NC, it was time for NASCAR to take its longest test of the year: 600 miles in 400 laps. Your points leader Jimmy Johnson was unable to pass the test at the track near where most teams are located. Overall, I thought it was a tremendous race! Kevin Harvick is a special talent and the 29 team is made of steel. As for your defending champion Brad Keselowski, it was a real big surprise to see him struggling on Sunday. Once Brad’s crew chief comes back, I expect much better things out of Brad. I think that he is just missing Paul Wolf a little bit. Paul has the talent, look at what he did in Chicago one year ago to Jimmy Johnson. So Brad is capable of winning another championship, I just think that he is missing Paul a little bit. As for Kevin Harvick Happy Harvick, he is in the last year of his contract before he moves over to Tony Stewart’s team. Time will tell what Tony decides to do with Ryan Newman. I hope that he will stay with Tony’s team, but adding Harvick will help the team’s chemistry. I am not worried about the way Tony’s team is struggling this year, you will have your down year. They just can’t seem to put together the pieces of the puzzle. This week is the week of my birthday, so who will deliver the packages for the Fedex 400? I would like to see Brad do it, but he is going to need a solid qualifying effort.
