Martin Truex Jr. swept all three stages of Sunday’s Kobalt 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, earning him a spot in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup playoffs. Meanwhile, Kevin Harvick, who was the point leader going into the race on Sunday, had trouble early when his right front tire blew. Also, Michigan native Brad Keselowski, who looked like he had the most dominant car in the race, blew his engine with two laps to go allowing Truex Jr. to take the checkered flag.

While Truex Jr. was celebrating his win, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano were acting like they needed baby formula and rattles as they exchanged unpleasantries, with Busch coming away with a bloody forehead. Busch commented that “Logano wrecked him and that Logano is going to get it again.”

In my opinion, Busch needs to be counseled for his anger, because of his history in prior races. Logano did not need to be punched. There was a better way for Busch to handle it in person by taking a deep breath in the hauler and finding Logano later to discuss things. That is more than likely, now with their future meeting with NASCAR officials.
