Chicago, IL. This reporter was up until midnight trying to get you the news so that I could do a story like the one I am writing now. Max Scherzer went in to yesterday’s game with an unbelievable record of 17 wins and one loss. Before we get too hyped up about whether Scherzer will win a CY Young award, the Tigers must return to their brilliant play. But the Tigers must get out of their un-Sterling play that started in New York and for some reason has carried in to Chicago. This is totally unacceptable. The White Sox shouldn’t even be allowed to talk about the “S” word. But because of Phil Coke they are trying to do something that a last place team has no business even thinking about. To win a pennant you must be able to put last place teams in their place. The Tigers have had just terrible pitching as of late, and it all started with Verlander on Sunday. It even started in front of national TV audience. The Tigers need to look deep within themselves and find the team that won 11 in a row before the Yankees showed them up! What is even worse, Alex Rodriguez hit a home run off of Verlander and that PED shouldn’t even be playing baseball right now! If the manager of the Yankees had any sense, he would sit his butt down on the bench. The fact A-Rod is still playing baseball is making baseball look like a total mockery. You want to talk about something good in the game? Well, Miguel Cabrera and Chris Davis of the Baltimore Orioles are what’s good right now!
