Going into tonight at the world’s greatest basketball arena in downtown Indianapolis, the Pacers were coming off a 4 and 1 road trip. Victor Oladipo, the native of upper Marlboro, Maryland is quickly becoming like the native of UCLA, Reggie Miller in the way he plays the heartland’s favorite game, basketball. Just when you think the game is over, here comes V.O. trying to make you think that Reggie is still in uniform. Just like the Pacers have unity on the floor, they also have team unity on the statewide radio network. If you didn’t have Boyle and former Pacers coach Bob Leonard, you wouldn’t have the chemistry that keeps me listening. The Pacers should be very thankful that they have Mark Joseph Boyle as their play by play announcer. I got to become very close with him when I went to a Pacers game in Minneapolis. When I listen to him, he makes me feel like I’m a part of the Pacers family. As for tonight’s game, the Pacers were never able to head off the tea party that Boston was trying to have in the heartland, despite the valiant effort Victor Oladipo gave by going 5 of 7 on 3 pointers. The game ended with the scoreboard reading Celtics 114, Pacers 111. The next opportunity for Victor to play Reggie style basketball is when the Pacers look to spread Philadelphia cream cheese on the 76ers on Saturday night.
