Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Oladipo did his best impersonation of R. M. when the pressure was on. Oladipo, who in my mind should be an Indiana Pacer next year if Donnie Walsh uses his head, made sweet music if you are an IU fan, and shut down the Owls, who were number 9 going in to the game with the Hoosiers. Just when you thought IU was going to go down, it was time for the Junior to outshine the Owls with his agility and speed. IU now has a chance to peel the Orange, which reminds me of the 1987 National Championship run, when they beat Syracuse for the title. Back then, IU had a player named Keith Smart and a coach who could blow his top at any minute. But the guys who wear cream and crimson refuse to lose, and this is another moment where they will peel away the Orange and begin an investigation of their own. The NCAA already has an investigation going on with Boeheim which Boeheim refuses to acknowledge. After Thursday, that’s the only thing Boeheim will have to answer to. He won’t be able to use basketball as a shield, because I said this going in to the tournament. The Hoosiers are the only thing that can beat themselves, and so far on the road to the 2013 National Championship, they have been unzellable.
