Miami, FL. For the Indiana Pacers, I know that it doesn’t feel good right now, but for all of us who cover the Pacers on a daily basis, this was a season to be proud of in more ways then one. We represent the state of Indiana with class and we never gave up, Miami was just the better team. They had everything to play for, but so did the Pacers. I have several people that I would like to thank, starting with the voice of the Pacers Mark Boyle. Mark, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Pacers basketball what it is. I would also like to thank Bobby Slick Leonard. Thank you for bringing Pacers basketball into my home. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Your Pacers were in the Eastern Conference finals and gave the champs a very good series. Thank you to Micheal O’Grady, the PA voice of the Pacers. You make Bankers Life sound so good through a radio. Especially in the playoffs there is nothing to hang your head about Micheal. Thank you to the best coach in the league, Frank Vogel, and thank you to Jamie Burns for making Pacers basketball sound so good on the radio. I would also like to thank Kevin Lee for helping with the pre game show, and thank you to all the people I just mentioned. As well as Austin Croshere for helping Mark Boyle on the road. It’s time for Donny to go to work and try to make our team a better team for the future. He has a big job in front of him. He has to resign David West and try to figure out what to do with Tyler so he doesn’t escape from the Pacers. Tyler should be able to be a starter somewhere in the NBA. I can’t wait to see how Donny makes this a better team. We only lost by one game, and I see nothing to be upset about. Unfortunately the Pacers are out of the playoffs, but they did give us Hoosiers a lot to be proud of! What can you say about LeBron James? He is a super player. Nothing to hang your heads about Pacers fans the ball just didn’t bounce our way last night. All we can do is get better in the draft and hope for the best next year.
