Detroit, Michigan. When you have a tendency to lose, it becomes harder to play the game the right way. Last night, the Detroit Pistons gave up 131 points to a Pacers team that is on a major roll, except for Saturday’s disappointment against LeBron and the LA Lakers. The Pacers played basketball the right way, and won 131-123. It was my first time to hear Jaden Ivey play in an NBA game, and I thought the Indiana Pacers couldn’t stop him. The Pistons have one of the youngest teams in the NBA, so it might take them a while to be in any title contention. I thought Coach Carlisle coached a great game, but he has a unique way of coaching. If he sees anything wrong, he doesn’t waste any time calling a timeout and talking to the Pacers team about what he is seeing. I thought Buddy Hield played a good game. He was on point and shooting three point baskets. If Slick Leonard was here, he would say, “Boom Baby”!
