Your coverage begins right now!  Only on your internet home for the road to Mason City!  For the best Bobcats coverage, I’ve got it all here, right now!  Last night I had a chance to visit the head coach of your Central Division Champs, Byron Pool!

The first topic that I touched on with Byron Pool was Owatonna.  I asked him to talk about Bismarck’s round 2 opponent. “It should be a tight series that’s a lot of fun,” he said. “They have a great offense with Cecka, Carew, and Thorson. We match up pretty well, because I think we have the best team defense in the entire league.

Which ever team executes it’s game plan  the best will probably end up on top.”  When asked who his team’s MVP would be, Pool stated “It would be tough to pick one, to be honest. You look at guys like Johnny Clark who are a plus thirty-eight in the back end, Cody Keefer with twenty-eight goals and fifty-five points, Jordan Singer and John Wickman both had over twenty goals, and then there’s guys who stepped up throughout the whole year. There are five or six guys who deserve it. I don’t think I could pick a team MVP.”  When asked about the powerplay, the coach said “We haven’t changed anything. We’ve got to make sure we make good decisions. It comes down to execution and good puck movement.
