My readers deserve to know why I was so incensed last week about the voice of the Vikings Paul Allen. There is proper media decorum that I believe anyone in my profession should be allowed to get away with. When you are calling a Vikings game, you should read the roster before you try and pronounce the name of an opponent. Instead of Zach Pascal, Allen was calling him Pass-Call. And also, he was acting like he was today in the game against Tennessee, like a fan and not a reporter. He was not treating his job the right way. Sorry to come down hard on you, Paul, but there is proper media decorum on the radio, and when you are in the press box. By the way, you were not at US Bank Stadium last week, you were at my stable in Indianapolis, so you got that wrong last week as well. Therefore, you should be reprimanded by the team and the radio station you work for. You should think twice because you never know who might be tuning in to you. I still love you, Paul, and you might be one of the best boxes in sports.
